♥The Snow is Falling♥

It is that beautiful time of year where the snow starts falling and everything turns into a beautiful white wonderland. I have started decorating my sim, and I thought I would share a couple of pictures with you. The clothing I have on is all from the December Arcade Gatcha.

*Hiatus*

Hey guys sorry I haven't been around much these last couple of weeks. After the death in our family our part of the states got hit with a nasty nasty winter storm that knocked out power and net for days. I get in world mobile sometimes to clear out ims and such but I sure do miss blogging. I have decided to wait until my new computer gets here and Christmas and all the Holiday madness have passed before I return to Sl to blog again. Right now life is so hectic and busy and loads of family coming in and out tons of things to do and still no net for me but I am posting this mobile so you all know I didn't just up and abandon the blog. I hope you are all staying safe and warm and you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I know I have a bunch of newness and goodies from Glam Affair sitting in my inv that I am dying to blog so expect some pic heavy and very frequent posts from me covering all that I missed when I get back in a couple of weeks. Shoetopia post- Super late

I have been meaning to do a post on shoetopia and it has taken me forever but finally here we go. I do want to apologize for the delay. I was going through I big change and blogging kind of took a back seat, I am good to go now and the show will go on full speed ahead.
The décor and theme of shoetopia is beautiful, then again I love everything old school Greek and Egyptian. There are shoes everywhere, it looked like a great selection for just about everyone. I am of course pretty picky and I did not want to spend a lot of money, so I was actually able to limit my spending. A lot of the brands had very reasonably priced items on sale, I was so very thankful for that.

I haven't been here this week I am mobile as we speak. There was a death in my family so on top of that it was also Thanksgiving. I have had no time this week to get on and that's ok this week was spent with friends and family celebrating someone's life and celebrating the family we have. I'll be back Monday. Todays post is short and sweet and girly and cute and a lil bit naughty. Paradisis released these awesomely cute HUD controlled leg warmers with shoes at 99l a color pack I got the pastels and you can not beat that price they are adorable and go perfect with my outfit. Anyways its cold out like 30 degrees cold and icy and rainy and I just wanna make some hot chocolate and curl up on my couch and rewatch all of Greys Anatomy... So today it went from 81 degrees to 42 in the matter of minutes... I was not prepared as I was running around town doing errands and out for lunch... This weekend is supposed to be icey (spelling? lol) snowy and COLD COLD COLD. I have to get out at 1am this morning also so I think I need to hire someone to go and start my truck and have my heater going on days like this haha. Todays post was a little hard to get done because all my kids wanted to do was dive on top of me and talk about farting... the little shits ;) gotta love em. I got this hair at Collabor88 and let me tell you I am in love with it. I am always in long hair and rarely RARELY buy updoes or short hair but this hair WOW. It is SO SO cute on me hehe. I have to admit  LaViere is a new designer for me I have never been to their store and haven't heard of em so forgive me I do live under a rock :D. There is also a new event going on Hello Titty Slots its nothing but gacha machines for us busty girls the top I have on is from Hollipocket and is super sexy see through lace I love it. I hope you enjoy.

So I finally got into Shoetopia and got the main shoe I was wanting. Bordello- Bonnie by Gos is such an exquisite shoe. I am a huge HUGE fan of Gos and these did not disappoint. As soon as I saw the previews for these sexy heels I knew they would be mine. I love that the heel is the barrel of a gun and the strap across the top is bullets. These are kinky, sexy and full of rock and roll I couldn't ask for more... and to be honest I just want to parade around SL in nothing but these shoes so forgive me because these shoes will probably be in my next million posts ;). There were some other shoes I want but, I haven't decided if I am going to get them because they require the Slink feet. I already own the Gos feet and I love them so I am not sure if I am going to get the feet or not.. probably since I really want some of the other shoes. I love my Slink hands but I just don't know about the feet yet...Maybe my Gos feet can be for when I am barefoot or in flipflops and I can get the Slink feet to wear only for certain shoes... We shall see.

Kustom9 Event- November

A couple of days ago I had the chance to go and visit Novembers edition of Kustom9. First and foremost I was in LOVE with the landscaping. It was all winter themed with snow falling and adorable animals all over the place. As with the last event the items there were kind of hit and miss for me. I loved some and completely hated some. I purchased a couple of items my most favorite are the *CASHMERE* Stamped Pointed Platforms, I bought the nude ones. They are for the slink feet which is why I purchased them. I love the design of them and I love that they are nude and will go with everything. Okay I think I said "I love" enough for now.... I hope. The next thing purchased is the FAUX- Laced Tee in red. It is cute and perfect for everyday wear.  I also purchased a set of poses from ZZANG, I decided on the good girl or bad girl pose pack. I did also get a necklace from the ATTIC gatcha machine that was there.( not pictured in this post) On with the pictures......

Both pose props are from Glitterati. Hands down the best store in my opinion to buy poses and pictures props.

I bought my lolas when they first came out they were the naturals, when they first came out there was hardly any clothing for them and to be honest I didn't care for how my avi looked with the original lolas or any of the mesh breasts. When the Tangos came out I went ahead and bought them because they looked a ton better on my avi. Now there are boobie events that make finding quality clothing for your mesh boobs easier. AND a lot of TOP quality designers are adding the appliers with their clothing so that is great since I have been wearing them non stop lately. I have mentioned The Boobies Show and the biweekly event Silicone, now there is a new boobies biweekly event and its Suicide Dollz. Go have a look lots of nice things at a great price. I could listen to a few ppl all day long Linkin Park and Eminem... which is funny because I am a Tx girl who listens to country more than anything... but those two... love. So I was blaring Eminems newest Survival love this song... though I couldn't really tell you of any songs of his that I don't like. Anyway... as I was listening this post came about. Today I was in a very purple mood. I don't know why because it's not something I wear often. I remember though when it was my favorite color. When I was in 4th 5th and 6th grade my room was purple with unicorns everywhere... I loved that room. Anyways there are lots of events going on right now... possibly the biggest being Shoetopia. I haven't had a chance to go yet and I usually don't try to go to major events on the first days anyways but I did get the newest venture from Glam Affair (Thanks aida!!) and that is her Vanity Feet. These are the Ballerina and they come in different sizes and with a hud so you can easily match your skin to any of her skins, toenail polishes, and different ribbons. I really like them... I love tippy toes and I really really like that I can customize them.

Today's post is short and sweet... still having net issues and SL hates me lolol. I had a lot of fun with this outfit though as soon as I put it on I knew I wanted my avi to be at a playground. Thanks to Honey (because I never go to kid avi sims... to be honest kid avis sort of creep me out) But she had this Awesome playground  set from Xeolots and it is so cute and colorful. I took my pony Starlight with me and she had more fun than I did I think.

Collabor88 November Edition

Steampunk seemed to be the theme for this months collabor88 collection, which I thought was pretty cool. Since sl was being a but I had a hard time tping around trying to find a place to take pictures so I was forced to be a little creative and find something to do at home. I ended up finding an Urban Steam punk building for FREE!!! on the marketplace so I used that as my backdrop. I did not want to fill the building full of decorations so I think had to think some more, I happened to be watching an underworld movie in real life while I was thinking, and I thought it would be pretty cool to add a werewolf to my scene. So that it is what I did. I have a male alt that I never use from back in the day when I owned a club, so I turned him into a werewolf. I found amazing poses on the marketplace as well. These pictures are what we (myself and my alt) made. Sl was being horrible about letting me take pictures.

It has SUCKED not being able to really get in SL and not being able to blog :( Today I was able to get in and stay mostly on but... through the crashing and the lag I had a hard time putting this post together. I wanted to go ahead and do Best & Worst Meme on Strawberry's blog since I missed last weeks and I don't want to miss out on this weeks either (though you can always go back and do them even though that week has passed) Anyways here is my own Best & Worst Meme. 1. Best thing about Second Life: The best friend I have made that has transcended into a RL best friend. The endless possibilities and creative artistic qualities we can express.
   Worst thing about Second Life: Reputation ( I have to second this Strawberry. SL can be so much more worse than a JR High Girls bathroom. The drama that comes with SL is beyond ridonculous.)
2. Best thing in your inventory: My first major buy in SL was a Zoobys ultimate cat. I named her ISIS and she is by far the best thing in my inv. Silly but I have a major attachment to her.
   Worst thing in your inventory: Notecards people have sent me to stir the pot.
3. Best earliest SL memory: WOW I actually have a few of these. The first time I met my best friend Honey, she was so unbelievably sweet and funny I knew we would be great friends from day one... and we have been. The first night I went with some girl friends to make fun of the noobies having sex in public places, we were all on voice and drinking and it was just so  much fun. The first time I got griefed ..low and behold 5 yrs later... hes still the one ;) Even after making my avi fart for hours and have my head stuck up my ass...
   Worst earliest SL memory: When I realized that SL isn't all fun and games. You can have your heart broken, you can be bullied, that SL can make you CRY.
4. Best thing you learned because of SL: That I'm a bigger nerd than I thought I was and I love it.
   Worst thing you learned because of SL: People are bigger assholes online because they can hide behind their computer screens.(Again... I will agree with Strawberry.)
5. Best thing about blogging: I think so far its that I have learned so much about photo editing (I still have a LONG way to go) but before I new notta not a DAMN thing I tell ya. Doing this blog has made me realize I want to photograph in RL. I also have a TON of fun playing dress up with my avi. I'll change more often during the day than I should but I can't help it I love that I am constantly experimenting with my look and I feel that what I am wearing is never expected because its never the same.
   Worst thing about blogging: well this week its that I haven't been here to blog... I hate that. But normally I would probably say, when I am in a funk it will literally take me HOURS upon HOURS to do a blog post.. I will completely ignore everyone in SL and will spend hours deciding on what I want to wear then hours on the location and pose and I will change my mind many times when I am in a funky mood.
6. Best thing to have with french toast: Powdered Sugar and Syrup
   Worst thing to have with french toast: Soy Sauce (Again Strawberry don't think I can top this LMAO) I can just imagine the look on someones face when they have had Soy Sauce French toast bleh

Blonde Snow White

Every where you go their are beautiful costumes for snow white, but honestly I hate to change my hair. So I thought why not just be a blonde snow white.... and I did it. I had bought a couple of things from the Enchantment sim but had yet to use them. I bought a snow white outfit in the color pink. I also bought a couple of poses to try one being a poison apple and the other an enchanted mirror. Here are a couple of pictures using the apple. I will add details later.

*Missing*

I have been having computer and net issues this week... hopefully will get it fixed soon... sometimes my net works and allows me on sl for a min or two but usually I cant even get sl to load up and half of the time no internet pages will load :( I'm missing posting and hate that I am missing so much to post on bleh... Dwarfins at the Enchanted Event

I went to check out the enchanted event which is basically all snow white themed. The area that had to be my favorite was the dwarfins. Of course dwarfs are a huge part of snow white and the 7 dwarfs. The area is will set up and the dwarfins are really cute. I did also get a couple of other things that I will show you in a future blog post.

*Halloween Meme*

I have been having horrid net issues today so I may or may not be able to post credits to this post quite yet as I can't get into second life... luckily I already had my photos done for this post. Strawberry Singhs meme for this week is all about Halloween. Halloween Meme  PS I sort of stole Strawberries costume and location for these shots (don't be mad) I have a plethora of Costumes in my inv and hadn't decided what I wanted to do until I saw Strawberries post... Now its not a copy but my photos are greatly inspired by what she posted and I normally don't do that but I really really liked the Redgrave Zombie Bride costume she posted about and I had already been to the Sim that Strawberry posted on thanks to the Explore SL group in Flickr. So thank you Strawberry and please remember imitation is the greatest form of flattery ( so they say) and please forgive me for sort of copying you.

Did you go trick or treating as a child? Yes I did I am the oldest of 5 siblings so it was always a huge family affair when we did trick or treating. I think I was in 7th grade the last time I trick or treated.

What was the best Halloween costume you ever saw or wore yourself? Hmmm... that's a toughie ... My mom was very into home-made Halloween Costumes and we were ALWAYS entered into the costume contests at the local fire station. I think my favorite costume was when my mom made one of my little sisters into Twinkle Twinkle little star and the favorite one for me to wear was Strawberry Shortcake and She-ra.. I remember running around in that costume until it fell apart.

What is your most vivid memory about Halloween?  Back in the day 80's and early 90's EVERYONE did Halloween.. you could go to neighborhood after neighborhood with just a few houses here and there that didn't give out candy we ALWAYS came home with one of those HUGE black garbage bags filled with candy from 5 kids... We would go trick or treating in a neighborhood and when our bags were full we dumped them into that bag and on to the next neighborhood... I have three kids and let me tell you how disappointing Halloween is now... It just seems like no one gets into it anymore and everyone turns there lights off so there isn't a lot of places to go. Thank goodness for the Church Trunk or Treats and the Carnivals.

What is the scariest movie you have ever seen?  Ok first you must all know I am a HUGE ninny. Scary movies of ANY kind give me nightmares and I don't watch most of them but... as a kid I remember that Freddy Kruegar movies were the scariest things EVER.. I had a neighbor boy that thought it was HIGHLARIOUS to sing one two Freddys coming for you... omg even typing it gives me the heebie jeebies.

Do you ever get nightmares after watching a scary movie? YES.. I even cried and freaked out during the Blair Witch Project when it first came out I thought it was real... so that right there tells you what a major wimp I am lol.

Are you superstitious? If so, name at least one superstition of yours. Yes and no... I do knock on wood and if I spill salt I toss it over my shoulder.. I guess it depends on the situation and what not.

What will you be doing for Halloween this year, if anything, in SL and RL? I took my 3 kiddos Trick or Treating in RL and I actually just got home not long ago so I have only been in sl once earlier this morning before my net decided it didn't want  me in SL today... SO... I am not doing anything in SL for Halloween...I have however spent most of the last two weeks on spooky sims and doing some hunts and the occasional party for Halloween.

The Second Life Fa-BOO-lous Halloween Snapshot Contest is here! Get your avi ready and show us your best Halloween/Dia de los Muertos themed images. Today I have a photo for you that I will be entering into the Second Life Haunted Highlights snapshot contest. Go HERE to enter and see all the entries. I am a pretty big fan of Halloween so this photo was super fun for me to do.. obviously by my posts I love to dress up and my avi is constantly changing.. there is no one set style for me I wear what I like.
The Idea behind this photo is a gathering of souls during the celebration Día de los Muertos or Day of the Dead as we here in the US refer to it. It takes place after Halloween on Nov 1-2nd. I love the sugar skull trend that seems to be getting more and more popular so that's what my avi is portraying in this photo. Hope you all enjoy. Costume Time

Seeing as though tomorrow is officially Halloween I figured I better get a costume post up before it is too late. My costume is from Boudoir. The owner and the creator is Precious Restless. She is truly talented to say the least.  The name of my costume is Beautiful Death Couture 1.2 in case you want to go and pick it up. I loved that the costume came as a complete kit. The only thing that I changed was the hair.  Now for the pictures, forgive me a got a little picture taking happy

I think this is a great costume over all. It moves with my avie well and it has mesh parts.

Today Honey and I both are posting on the same House. Editorial Clarity blows my mind I want to kidnap him and chain him to my RL house until my house looks just like the one I am about to show you. Gorgeous, Stunning, Exquisite are just some of the words to describe his interior design. If you haven't yet I suggest you go at once to his BLOG then run run run... no FLY and TP because we can do that in sl to the actual open house that showcases his design. Here is your limo GO NOW... you will fall in absolute love. Open House I stayed a good hour looking and loving all the small details and gorgeous items taking photos and dreaming and being inspired.
